Recently, OPGA President, Paula Moore and OPGA Executive Director, Kris Sanders walked the halls of Congress and visited with Oklahoma’s Congressional delegation as part of Propane Days to help the NPGA lobbying efforts in Washington, DC. For the most part, OPGA advocated for consumer access to gas appliances and energy choice; however, OPGA also made sure to advocate for federal help in allocating grant funds to make propane buses available to school districts within Oklahoma.  Members also discussed the clean aspects of conventional propane, growth in renewable propane and the industry’s efforts to decarbonize its fuel to help reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

Thank you to NPGA for doing such a great job of organizing the first in person Propane Days since 2019 for maximum benefit.
