2017 Convention

The 2017 OPGA-APGA Annual Conference is scheduled for June 26-29 at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Hot Springs, AR.  This year’s conference features a variety of fun, educational and entertaining activities ranging from the Annual Management/Safety Seminar to the Annual Golf Tournament.

Hotel reservations can be made by calling the Embassy Suites Hotel in Hot Springs by calling the hotel directly at: 501-321-4430 or 1-800-EMBASSY.  Reference APG for any call in reservations.  Or CLICK HERE to make your reservations online.  Be sure to indicate that you plan to attend the Arkansas/Oklahoma LP Gas Convention.   In order to get the best room rate, hotel reservations need to be made by May 27th.

Trade Show – Tuesday

(Exhibitors must register for both the Trade Show and Convention)

The Trade Show has been the place to mingle and meet both old and new friends and to see the latest that our industry has to offer. The Trade Show will be open Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. For exhibitors, Trade Show information and a registration form for the Trade Show is included. You will be able to set up Tuesday and take down Tuesday evening. Please, 2-wheel dolly material only.


Children’s Activities – Tuesday

Bring the youngsters as the Embassy Suites Hotel is a family friendly hotel. Tuesday brings our popular Bingo Lunch with cash prizes for the kids is always a hit. (Please register your children for name badges)


Ladies’ Program – Wednesday

Ladies, get ready for another fun and exciting program. Wednesday will bring a leisurely light luncheon for you featuring a showcase.   Ann Potter Baking is a boutique cookie company that specializes in designing the most beautiful, detailed and delicious cookies for client events and special occasions. The goal is to delight the customer and to exceed their expectations. Each cookie is a work of art! Sarah, the mastermind of Ann Potter Baking, also hosts fun cookie classes where she shares many tips and tricks on how to bake and decorate fancy sugar cookies and provides a hands-on experience!

Gap and Disney have featured her cookies to introduce their adult line of clothing at special events from coast to coast, Ann Potter Baking along with Sarah Eaton DeClerk, its owner, have been featured in Good Housekeeping and Social South magazines. Articles have been in Arkansas Matters, Rock City Eats and Only in Your State -Top 37 Bakeries in State. Ann Potter Baking was featured as one of the top entrepreneurial business in Little Rock. Sarah Eaton DeClerk, owner of Ann Potter, was featured as one of the Women to watch in 2016. Wednesday Evening Entertainment
